MANILA - Officials Filipinya states, forces the United States (U.S.) will help the soldiers, ships or aircraft when there is an attack on the Philippines Spratly Islands.

U.S. Defense Treaty - Philippines 1951 is the basis for U.S. action to intervene when there is an attack on the Philippine territory.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Philippines, the U.S. will help the Philippines in the Spratly Islands to survive if attacked. Similarly, as reported by the Associated Press on Wednesday (22/06/2011).
