Seoul - Floods caused by heavy rains that hit the Korea of the North last week destroyed houses, roads and farms and caused losses, said the Government media.
Heavy rains 12 to 15 July has resulted in more than 20 000 hectares of agricultural land damaged or flooded across the country was reported by the Korean News Agency Central News Agency, Sunday (5/7/2011).
"The Western in northeastern South Hamgyong Hwaghae and regions most severely affected by flooding, with precipitation more than 250 mm in some areas," he said.
