NUSA DUA - Perhimpunan Bangsa-bangsa Asia Tenggara (ASEAN) mengutuk serangan teroris yang terjadi di Norwegia, Jumat (22/7/2011). AKSI peledakan bom di ibu kota Norwegia, Oslo, dan penembakan brutal sejumlah remaja di Pulau Utoya yang menghentak masyarakat dunia itu dikabarkan telah menelan puluhan korban jiwa.

Menlu RI Marty Natalegawa selaku Ketua ASEAN menyampaikan keprihatinannya dan mengutuk keras tragedi berdarah ini. "dalam pertemuan ini kami juga membahas kontraterorisme, penyerangan di Oslo, kami mengutuk insiden tersebut," tegas Marty saat konferensi pers penutupan ASEAN Ministers Meeting (AMM) ke - 44 di Nusa Dua, Bali, Sabtu (23/7/2011) sore.

Marty berharap Masyarakat Norwegia tabah menghadapi musibah ini dan dia yakin Norwegia akan segera bangkit dari masalah ini. "Kami yakin mampu mengatasi tantangan yang dihadapi Norwegia," jelas Marty.

Dalam Ma ke-44 ini, selain membahas masalah politik, ASEAN juga membahas soal keamanan, termasuk masalah terorisme stabilitas.
