Turkish quake death toll reached 279 people, victims Hundreds Still Missing

Istanbul - The death toll from the earthquake that shook Turkey continues to grow. An earthquake measuring 7.2 on the Richter Scale (SR) has now killed 279 people and injured more than 1,300 people.

As reported by Reuters on Tuesday (25/10/2011), currently the focus of the SAR team to evacuate the city of Van and peas, which is located about 100 kilometers north of the capital of Turkey, Istanbul.
