BARCELONA - Yamaha Racing like no less with Ducati. Japanese motor manufacturer will set up the motor with power of 1000cc engine for the upcoming 2012 season.
This was disclosed Jorge Lorenzo in the launch of his book in Barcelona some time ago. However, the new 2010 MotoGP champion mejajal 1000cc engine power after the race at Mugello, beginning next July.
"The machine will be slightly larger, with more powerful force, and I hope that the machine has the character according to Yamaha, great braking and tough time during the turn," Lorenzo said in launching the book "Jorge Lorenzo, El Nuevo rey de MotoGP"
"We hope there is a slight change in engine power, so I hope there is less power than the Yamaha engine normally. I really would love, although there is no perfect bike," continued the Spaniard.
However, Lorenzo said he did not get involved in the development of motor engines for next season. The reason, Lorenzo insisted was not a mechanic, who works dealing with the engine.
"I am not a machine interpreter, I know riding a bike, I only know how to ride a bike fast," he said quoted by MotoGP.com, Sunday (17/04/2011).
