Japan's TEPCO President Apologizes Back

TOKYO - President of Tokyo Electric Power Company (TEPCO), Masataka Shimizu again apologize related radiation levels due to Fukushima nuclear power plant explosion.

As reported by CNN's website, Wednesday, April 13, 2011, Masataka expressed regret and promised to stabilize the situation immediately.

"I regret the fact that trouble all people, I would like to take this opportunity to apologize," Shimizu said in Tokyo.

Shimizu apology came after pressure from the Japanese government presented the Prime Minister of Japan Naoto Kan. Kan asks TEPCO resolve this case and clean the area of nuclear radiation

"At all costs, all of reactors and ponds are exposed to radiation, nuclear fuel must be controlled so that we can prevent further expansion of this damage," Kan said.

Japan announced the Fukushima Daiichi crisis level 7 which is equivalent to the 1986 Chernobyl disaster in the Soviet Union. President TEPCO said it would stabilize the situation as quickly as possible and work quickly cool the reactor and prevent the spread of nuclear materials.

"While continuing to ask for support and cooperation of governments, ministries, and city, we want to maintain close communication with them, and we will make best efforts to bring this situation is over," Shimizu said.
