North Korea announces arrest of U.S. citizen

Pyongyang - North Korea (North Korea) provides information that the communist state has arrested an American citizen and will be prosecuted for committing a crime.

June Young Su a U.S. citizen arrested in November last year, according to the KCNA news agency.

U.S. State Department has also announced the arrests on Tuesday and demanded the release of its citizens on humanitarian grounds.

A long history has always accompanied the arrest of U.S. citizens who break into the North.
