Master the capital of Ivory Coast's opposition

Abidjan - Ivory Coast continued a prolonged crisis. This time, government troops reportedly overran the opposition Ivorian capital, Yamoussoukro.

The success of this opposition group signifies their victory after the on going political turmoil, when former President Lauren Gbagbo refused to resign from office despite losing the general election now.

Yamoussoukro Fall into the hands of the opposition showed dramatic developments that occurred in the city. Currently supporting troops reportedly Alassane Quattara to the city business center of Abidjan. Abidjan alone approximately 230 kilometers away from Yamoussoukro.

The news about the fall of the capital city of Yamoussoukro was confirmed by Captain Leon Alla spokesman for Quattara defense field. "Yamassoukro troops currently in the hands of Republicans (supporters Quattara)," said Captain Alla told The Associated Press on Thursday (03/31/2011).

A resident also acknowledged that army parade celebrating Quattara do they master the Yamoussoukro. Quattara troops fired shots into the air sounds as a sign celebrating the victory of his party.

Currently Quattara forces intend to change their target to AbidjanCaptain Alla expect similar conditions in Abidjan Yamassoukrowho surrendered without a fight.

"Abidjan would have fared the same (with Yamassoukro)," said Alla. "We will enter the city without a single shot was let go because there is no FDS forces (troops loyal to Gbagbo) situatedin the city," he said.
