Armed Groups Attack NATO Headquarters, 2 Killed

Ilustration
KABUL - A group of gunmen attacked the headquarters of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), but the attack was in fact killed attackers.

The perpetrator intends to bomb detonates in front of the entrance to Nato headquarters in Jalalabad. The incident at Camp Phoenixthis failed to happen because the bomb exploded just before theattack took place. As a result, the two actors reportedly killed instantly.

The Taliban claimed to be behind the attack was Camp Phoenix. A spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid said seven perpetrators of the attack revealed in this mission. But the explanation is not entirely believed true Mujahid.

As reported by Reuters on Saturday (04/02/2011), during the many parties felt that the Taliban often exceeds the size of the operation-more they do, especially that directed at coalition forcesin Afghanistan.

Meanwhile, NATO spokesman admitted there were two members of the militant who carried out the attack. But only one is believed to be carrying explosives. The police themselves have combed thearea around the military base, in order to search for clues.

This is not the first time attacked the Camp Phoenix, in 2009 and then a military base was shocked by bomb explosion at the end of2009. The incident injured nine NATO troops.
