Clinton will Visiting the location of Japan Earthquake

TOKYO - Foreign Minister of the United States (U.S.) akam Hillary Clinton planned to visit Japan this month. Clinton is scheduled to visit the location of the earthquake that destroyed Japan March 11 last.

As a form of U.S. government support to the Japanese, Clinton will meet with Japanese high officials. This meeting as a sign of U.S. support for Japan which is also faced with the nuclear crisis, after the earthquake which accompanied the tsunami struck.

Previously Clinton did express support for Japan after an earthquake measuring 9.0 on the Richter scale (SR) rocked.

"We'll always be together with the people and Government of Japan in the process of recovery (post-earthquake). We will support now and in the future," Clinton said as quoted by Fuji TV some time ago, as quoted by AFP on Thursday (04/07/2011) .

Meanwhile, to help the nuclear crisis experienced by Japan, 155 U.S. Marines are trained, sent to the Fukushima region to assist the experts and workers at the Fukushima nuclear power plant.

Clinton's visit will be accompanied by a meeting with Japanese Foreign Minister Takeaki Matsumoto, who was appointed two days before the earthquake took place.
