Simoncelli |
Start from the fifth rank, Simoncelli took over the leadership race from Casey Stoner on lap five. He is also getting the upper hand after Stoner falls after rub against Valentino Rossi on lap seven. With Stoner out of the race and Rossi are scattered in the back, Simoncelli chance to win big races because he's pretty far ahead of Jorge Lorenzo who rose to the rank of second.
Unfortunately for drivers Simoncelli, a golden opportunity was gone after she slipped while leaving a 16 lap race. San Carlo Honda Gresini rider was eventually unable to continue the race.
"Since then very difficult to continue (the race). But I'm directing and controlling Lorenzo," added the 24-year rider.
"My feeling is that I did not push too much but I am a little lost the front on the bend it. I am very disappointed because it is very nice can lead a race," Simoncelli lid.
