South Korean news agency (South Korea) Yonhap quoted South Korean government officials said the execution of former Railway Minister Kim Yong Sam North Korea appears to related to the massive explosion in Ryongchon station in the northwest. Thus was launched by AFP on Monday (04/04/2011).
The explosion occurred a few hours after North Korean leader Kim Jong Il through the station with a special train on the way back from a visit to China. The explosion led to speculation of an assassination attempt.
North Korean Government said at the time of ammonium nitrate fertilizer that was hit by accident on electrical wires and triggering an explosion that killed 160 people and injuring 1,300 people.
Kim Yong Sam, who took over as minister in 1998, the last time was mentioned in the official media in 2008. A news media said he had been executed years ago, but the news was cited reason execution is theft of scrap metal from the train.
Officials who do not want to be named is not clear when Kim's ex-minister for allegedly executed or what he is executed.
