U.S. Take back Fighter Jet from Mission in Libya

BRUSSELS - NATO's military said the United States (U.S.) will withdraw its war planes from the front line missions in Libya and changing role as an advocate in the conflict Libya.
 
Britain, France and other NATO allies currently provides a jet fighter to make arrests and ground attack missions.
 
According to NATO officials who do not want to be named, handed over power from the U.S. military is expected to be conducted in the afternoon local time.
 
Last week, U.S. Defense Secretary Robert Gates said the U.S. would continue to provide assets that can not be met by other countries. Assets include AWACS air surveillance aircraftelectronic reconnaissance aircraft, and tanker air refueling.
 
However, U.S. air forces will still be there to support the allies if necessary.
