Apple Wins 'Dispute' Patent from Nokia

Jakarta - Apple finally declared entitled to the five patents that have been debated by Nokia. International Trade Commission (ITC) in Washington, United States (U.S.) has decided Apple is not violated five patents. 
However, the ITC judge's findings, E James Gildea, this will be reviewed by a commission of six persons, who have the authority to block imports of products known to infringe patents in the U.S..

As is known, the two top mobile phone vendors have been involved in disputes about patents on the technology they made ​​phone since October 2009. Nokia filed a lawsuit accusing Apple has violated 10 patents and demanding royalties on millions ofiPhones sold since its introduction in 2007.

In response to this decision, the Nokia was not satisfied. "Although we do not agree that there is no patent infringement, we will wait to see the details before deciding the next step," said Nokia spokeswoman Laurie Armstrong, quoted from the Times of India,Sunday (27/03/2011).

Meanwhile, Apple spokeswoman Kristin Huguet said the company currently will not comment. He mentioned, the reason Apple wonthe judge in this lawsuit will be released to the public after after both parties have the opportunity to develop their business information.

Nokia claims, Apple has been using its proprietary technologyknown as 'pioneering innovation'. Nokia patents in question includea camera, battery technology, touch screen, speakers and messaging.

Apple also has its own claims and demands behind NokiaDifferent ITC Judge handling the case, Charles Bullock is scheduled to soon release its findings on June 24, 2011.
