Mute Air Force attack Gaddafi

Libyan Military
Tripoli - military fighter jets attack west of silencing the artillery andtanks, troops loyal to Libyan leader Moammar Gaddafi. U.S.military officials (U.S.) warned Gaddafi, military armored vehicleswill be the next target.

Showed resistance, Gaddafi said, the barracks again to attacktoday on the fourth night. The attack was carried out on the basis ofSecurity Council of the United Nations (UNSC) which is intended toprotect civilians Libya.

At least two explosions were heard on Wednesday morning localtime in Misrata. According to local residents, after the explosionwas not heard again the voice of resistance from government forces.

"They (troops Khadafi) did not open fire artillery since the air strikes took place," said one resident of Misrata as quoted by Reuters on Wednesday (03/23/2011).

Following the attacks in Misrata, U.S. military officials confirmedRADM Peg Klein, fighter jets will be sent to attack the tanksGaddafi's troops.
"Some cities still have a tank that is used to attack civilians Libya,"according to Klein.

"We have the authority of the attack on the UN Security Councilmandate to attack the tanks. So the tanks had been targeted fromthe air strike next,"continued Klein.
