Blankets from Indonesia, Heats in Japan Earthquake Victims

TOKYO - International aid continues to flow to victims of earthquake in Japan. Indonesia did not want to miss. Help blankets began to arrive to Japan.

Help blankets from Indonesia is planned to be distributed this Sunday to the evacuation center Saitama Arena, Tokyo. This assistance is obtained from contributions of the Indonesian people who sympathize with the situation in Japan.

The Indonesian government itself has committed to provideassistance to the Japanese. The Government is committed to providing assistance amounting to two million dollars to earthquake survivors.

In addition, the government plans to send rescue teams to areas hit by the quake. Rescue team comprising 65 people ready for deployment to the location of the quake, according to the Embassy in Japan on Sunday (20/03/2011).

On the day Thursday, March 17 had already dispatched a team consisting from initial 15 people.

The crisis that hit Japan is estimated to require the largest reconstruction efforts the Government of Japan after World War II.Reconstruction is expected to require regular up to USD200 billion.
